I'm pretty sure I'm getting the shoes. There was a moment when I doubted the wisdom of commemorating my MBA with a pair of deisgner heels, but then I thought to myself that I really don't want an expensive pen or a clock or anything of that nature, so I decided to go with my gut instinct.

I think I'm going to try Pass Your Plate with Mom and Beth. I tried Super Suppers once last year and we really enjoyed having the meals on hand, so we're going to check this out. The ingredients in their dishes seem nicer, and it's no secret that I like good food, so we'll see how it goes. There are already nights when I have obligations in the evenings and don't have time to cook, so maybe those nice little frozen meals-for-two will come in handy.

Today is my nephew's fifth birthday. Happy birthday, Jonathan! Five years ago, you made me an aunt. I was a freshman in college and wasn't allowed to miss ballet class for your birth, so I got to see you when you were two days old. When I finally got to hold you, you cried and cried and then I cried because you cried. We were just a big bunch of happy criers. Love you, Buddy Bear. You were an excellent Ring Lizard.

Have a good Thursday, all!
