It's raining again! And it's supposed to rain all week!

Had my little medical test yesterday. My mom went with me, cause I'm a big baby. The funniest part was when they injected me with iodine, and the nurse said, "You're going to feel a warm sensation." I waited for it, then felt heat traveling up my arm and then down to my crotch... which was a little disturbing. I'll update on the results once I get them.

This Friday is our officer slumber party/work shop, which is supposed to serve as a get-to-know-each other, bonding time/training session. Since I've only been doing this coaching thing for one year, I don't have a whole lot of experience to draw from. Last year at this time, I was feeling really apprehensive about attending a slumber party with teenage girls I didn't know. Plus, I figured they probably didn't like me much since I judged their tryouts. This year, though, I have embraced my inner pre-teen, and I think Lauren and I might be more excited than the girls! Junk food, swimming, games... what's not to love?

Happy rainy Wednesday!
