As I mentioned previously, this is Condo Improvement Week for the Baucom household. We began today by consulting a plumber, who came out to look at the pipes in (around?) our dishwasher, which hasn't worked since I moved in, and declared that we needed a new one. After work, Bryan and I are going to pick one out. The rest of our to-do list is:

1. Sand and re-stain dining room table
2. Paint living room, kitchen and bathroom
3. Hang art in livingroom and bedroom
4. Re-tile bathroom
5. Clean up the "yard"
6. De clutter a few areas

These are some things we've intended to do since we wed, but have put off. Chip is coming to set a dance on the varsity and jv highsteppers next week, and will be staying will us, so we finally found the inspiration to get to it!

In other news, I had a nice lunch at Lava today, which I've mentioned before. Again, I was impressed. We're going to have a Barre Society function there on the 23rd, for anyone who's interested.

I also stopped by Kokoa for some truffles to take home to my husband (and myself), so my afternoon was quite pleasant. People, this is how truffles were meant to taste! I got a new variety that I'm quite excited to try: champagne and dried cherry ganache in a dark chocolate shell.
