Well, I got a lot accomplished at the condo last night. It's starting to look pretty good, if you stay out of the bedroom, anyway.
At 9:40 pm, Bryan and I decided to escape the scorching Oklahoma heat by taking a dip in the pool. No one else was there, so we had full run of the place. I glided through the cool water on my back, staring up at the inky-blue night sky. I think that moment in the pool may be my favorite memory from this summer. I really wanted to skinny dip, like Beth and I used to on summer nights in our backyard, but my husband wouldn't let me. Something about indecent exposure.
Had lunch at a new place called The Local Table. It doesn't have a website for me to link, sorry. Anyhow, the premise of the restaurant is that all the ingredients are locally grown. I had a salad, roasted vegetables and a Cuban panini (ham, pork, swiss cheese, yellow mustard, pickles). All the ingredients were very fresh tasting. I want to go back and explore some of the more exotic menu items, like their flat breads. I think the chef is Tuck Curran of Biga.
Chip arrives on Friday night! Whoohoo!!!

I do remember that morning- ICK! I felt bad for Brian yesterday morning. He dealt with the worst of it. But, this was his first time to deal with it EVER so I didn't feel bad for long.
