People, have you noticed that we’re nearing October??? It’s just crazy how time flies. This week is production week at Tulsa Ballet. We open Romeo and Juliet tomorrow night. We’re also having our season opening gala on Saturday night, which is one of those fun work situations where I get to dress up, work a little bit, then enjoy the event. And, growing up during the Baz Lurhmann R & J craze, I love a good R & J themed party. Our gala is called “An Evening in Verona.” We’re even serving Capulet and Montague martinis! Themed martinis are hard to beat, friends. I think the only thing that could are themed champagne cocktails.

Work is serving up a double whammy of production weeks, though, now that we’re touring to OKC with some of our ballets. I go for two nights next week. Sheesh.

Also occurring next week is my big six month anniversary! I know, congratulate me now. Six months and no surprise pregnancies. No puppies, for that matter. I never told Bryan this, but part of me feared that we’d be one of those couples (like my parents!!) that conceive right away. Anyway, back to the puppy thing- my dear husband has conceded that I can get my very own Italian Greyhound baby this spring!!! Yeah!!!!!
