I know I'm just little Susie Homemaker these days, but I can't help myself:

Cheese Ball

1 1/4 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup sour cream
1/2 stick unsalted butter melted
1 1/4 tsp course salt
Pinch cayenne pepper
1/3 cup dry sherry

Combine ingredients in food processor. Using plastic wrap, form a ball with the mixture and chill overnight.
