Ugh! A stupid situation that I had temporarily forgotten about reared its ugly head again this morning. And now I’m feeling really grouchy about it, so I’m just going to spill the beans and devil may care: everyone that reads my blog knows I love my drill team coaching job, but there are things going on right now that make it difficult to see myself doing this again next year. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the girls or the other coaches- these are women that I love and I consider dear friends. It has to do with administrative decisions that are affecting our program. So, if you would, pray for all of us involved to have wisdom and patience in dealing with the current situation, and guidance for our involvement in the program in the future.

Now, back to more pleasant subjects: I had a wonderful weekend! I made my first pot roast, which felt like a monumental occasion for some reason. I baked cookies and went to see a movie and went bowling, all with my husband. It was so nice to spend a whole weekend with each other! I also bought a couple new holiday cooking magazines, so I’m getting some holiday recipe ideas.

Tonight, I get to go to a wine dinner as part of work! Isn’t that lovely?
