Wednesday. Three days post ice storm. Most of the businesses along Brookside are still without power and so are the stoplights at all the intersections. Now that the ice has melted off the trees, they look like the were hit by a tornado.

Bryan and I are truly lucky to have power at the condo. My parents and Beth and Scott still don't. Even though we can stay comfortably in our home, we're both a little bored with the whole situation. Most restaurants are closed. No movie theaters. I'm tired of drinking martinis.

I guess I should do some more cooking tonight!
