Well, I'm really finished with all my Christmas shopping. Stockings and everything. The primary reason being I ran out of money. Now, this is usually the point where I pull out the trusty credit card and run out and buy a few more special gifts. This year, however, I have no credit card. See, my husband is trying to teach me that the gravy train isn't endless. And while it sucks big time, I feel alright about it. Huh.
Guess I'll just have to show people how much they mean to me through my actions, not my Christmas gifts. Novel idea. It is harder, though, when one of your love languages is gifts.
Nonetheless, I'm ready for Christmas. So here's the schedule for Bryan and me: This weekend, we're going to OKC to visit with Ken, Tommy and Jessie. Sunday night we're coming back, and bringing Ken back with us. On Christmas Eve, we've got our traditional dinner at Tei Kei's (random, I know). Then on Christmas morning, we'll have our little gift exchange at the condo, then head to my parents' house for Christmas brunch. That night, it's back to the condo for movies, and by popular demand, my muffaletta sandwiches.
Whew! The day after Christmas, the Texas Penses are coming to visit. I can't wait to see you people! It's been too long.
And that's the plan. I'm sure I'll update from time to time and post some pictures.
Most important of all: Merry Christmas!
