Okay, I'm going to try and squeeze in an actual blog... not the two sentence updates I've been leaving lately. Work is nuts right now. You see, I'm going to Disney World for Nationals this Friday, and I'll be gone through Tuesday. I had planned to put the NEA application in the mail by March 7 and the OAC application by March 12. That would have given me several more work days after I return from Nationals to wrap things up. Then... we were informed that the administrative wing is going to be reinforced (?!) March 6-7 because that's the most convenient time for everyone else, which means I will be out of my office. Away from my printer. And my desk. In other words, NEA and OAC must be finished by Thursday. I have been close to a panic attack all day.

This feeling reminds me of my junior year when I had to finish a capstone project early because the Students of Arts Management were going to Disney World for a workshop. Colby and I pulled an all-nighter, subsiding on Dunkin Donuts coffee and bagels while I frantically printed and assembled the project. I slept like a rock the entire plane ride to Florida, and dozed off every time we got into a car. I felt like a narcoleptic!

So, I'm taking home my laptop and all my research so I can work at home tonight. Wish me luck!
