The Powers that Be decided that it actually was impossible to work under the current conditions, so the Ballet will be closed tomorrow. And what will I be doing? Sipping a latte by the fire? Napping? Not quite. I'll be frantically working from home, crouched uncomfortably between our tiny desk and the printer/copier/fax machine combo. The good news is that I submitted the NEA application a few moments ago. Now, I just need one choreography sample from Mr. Massimiliano Volpini before I'm completely finished.

In other news, I went grocery shopping this afternoon. I stocked up on so much food that I shouldn't need to go again for three weeks. Unless we run out of milk.

My one year anniversary is coming up very soon. I ordered my husband his presents today. The traditional gift for one year is paper, so one of his gifts fits. The others are kind of funny. I'll have to post pictures.

My twenty-fifth birthday is also coming up. Wow. Last year was the Year of Big Events. 2008 is shaping up to be the Year of Changes. And I'm awfully grown up now. The next big milestones should probably be home-ownership and babies. But not quite yet.

Have a fabulous weekend, all.
