So, Bryan and I moved to Oklahoma City yesterday... surprised? We were too! First, I have to clarify by saying I'm not going anywhere for a couple more months, but Bryan starts work at his new job next Monday.

On Friday, we drove to OKC to look at apartments. This turned out to be a pretty long and exhausting process, but it just so happened that the complex we liked best had an immediate opening. We put down a small deposit to hold the apartment until April 18, thinking we had plenty of time to start moving and even change our minds if we found a place we liked better. Then on Saturday morning, Bryan received a call saying that he had to start working at his new job on the 14th, not the 21st, as he requested. That gave us one week to relocate him. Oh, by the way, they needed his permanent OKC address on Monday (today).

So, we secured a U-Haul, and with the help of his family, got all of our large furniture moved in. In the next four days, we have to pack the rest of our stuff and move it into the new apartment, put his mom's stuff back into the condo (she's having chemo treatments here in Tulsa in few weeks), and then move me and some of my clothes into Mom and Dad's. Bryan starts training in Dallas next week.

What a whirlwind!
