I spent a fair amount of time gazing out one of the big windows in my new office yesterday… my internet connection wasn’t working and I didn’t have any stuff there. It’s amazing how much productivity goes out the window when you can’t use technology.

So, Memorial Day weekend was lovely. All my recipes turned out well. I think the biggest hit was the pineapple cake. I made two of them, and they were both eaten in a day!

I also played badminton for the first time… what a fun game! Try playing it without laughing. Not possible. It was also impossible for the people watching us play at the lake to keep a straight face.

I’ve had a real problem lately with locking myself out of my car. Last week, I locked my keys, purse and cell phone in my car while pumping gas because I was distracted by the thought of going inside and purchasing a hot dog… seriously. I had to pay to have my car broken in to. Well, last night, I stopped to fill up my tank before leaving OKC to come back to Tulsa. I had Tino in the car, and left my door unlocked and the keys in the ignition. When I walked back around my car after pumping, Tino ran across the seats to meet me… and stepped on the lock. Seriously. Luckily for me, Bryan was just down the road and I didn’t have to pay anybody this time.

Have a good one!

I don't like that you have an office in OKC. It's too far away
:(. You make me laugh with your lock out stories - it sounds like something that I would do.

Miss you tons!!!

BTW, I finally started a blog! zumthemum.blogspot.com - are you so proud?

I agree with Melissa! OKC is just TOO FAR.
