So. I'm listening to Christmas music. I felt a little sheepish about this until I noticed that they were playing strictly Christmas tunes at the SouperSalad! last night. I was eating at SouperSalad! because Bryan and I are dieting, together, which makes it much easier.

And our pastor, Craig Groeschel, was there too with his entire family. We kept staring at them throughout our meal, but decided not to interrupt their obviously rare family time. When you pastor a dozen big churches, you are a busy man indeed.

Bryan and I are trying to pick out the appliances for our house. He wants a super fancy washer/dryer combo (he does the laundry) and I want one of those french door, bottom-drawer freezer refrigerators (I do the cooking). But, each of us thinks the other's appliance choice is too extravagant. We'll see where we compromise on this one.

We did our walk-thru of our house last night. Highlights included discovering the fire place turns on with a casual flick of a switch, the bath tub is a jacuzzi and my granite kitchen counter tops have beautiful, blue-green flecks in them that are only visible in certain lighting. Bad news is that the living room is pre-wired to have the tv set up over the fireplace, which seems odd to me...

Anyway, I'm so, so excited to move in! I'll be packing all weekend.

Have a good one!

YOU SAW CRAIG AND HIS FAMILYS IN PERSON?!?!?! WOW! Oh, and the house thing is pretty cool too. :) But Craig is like a celebrity to me. I can't wait to see house pics.

I meant family not familys.

Tell Bryan that a family eats more times a day than they do laundry. Therefore, you win! :-)

Although, with my kiddos, I need bigger laundry appliances, AND a bigger fridge! Maybe you BOTH should win.

I could hardly even wait until after Halloween to break out Sufjan Stevens' Songs for Christmas. Actually, one day back in early October, I went ahead and listened to it on repeat the entire day. But it was still to warm outside then. Today, however, is perfect.

I have also been listening to Christmas music for about a week, and I carried my Christmas travel Starbucks mug this morning.
