First spiders, now this: last night, Bryan and I took Tino on our customary walk around the neighborhood. We had barely gotten around the corner when Tino, busy sniffing the ground for a place to hike, jumped a foot in the air and yelped. Suddenly, two giant red wasps came flying out of the ground straight at us, and Tino started howling. Bryan batted the wasps away and I picked Tino up and noticed a giant welt forming on his left leg. The poor fellow had been stung by those mean old wasps!

I carried him home and made a baking soda paste for his leg. While I was putting it on him, I noticed another giant welt on his tiny neck- they got him twice! Needless to say, he was pretty subdued most of the night, but after an hour or so, the swelling went down and I stopped worrying about an allergic reaction.

I've had it with the bugs!

I would completely FREAK if Ru got stung by wasps! Ack! You're such a good mommy, with your baking soda salve. I'm glad he's okay.
