Well, my first "married Thanksgiving" was a success. All my dishes turned out well. Bryan's favorite was my garlic mashed potatoes (red potatoes mashed with the skin on, plus a generous amount of sauteed garlic and onions, heavy cream, butter and a little fresh parsley). We all stuffed ourselves, fell asleep for a little while, then went back for round two.

Round Two: A Winner!

Last night, Bryan and I stayed up playing God of War II. And when I say playing, I mean that I am the strategist and Bryan executes on the controls. I'm terrible at video games; I have to jerk my whole body around to make the controls work. Yep, I'm one of those people. But we make a pretty good team with me as copilot.

I scored a Christmas shopping victory this morning from the comfort of my home- Old Navy was running the exact same specials online as in the store. So, I slept in until 9:00 and then logged on and bought what I needed. No crowds. No limited selection. He he he.
