And now it's 20 something degrees today. I wore a short-sleeved blouse to work because I was so uncomfortably hot yesterday! Thank goodness I brought a sweater. Global warming indeed.

I attended a baby shower last night for KP and Zum. It reminded me of how I felt when I was about to get married; so expectant, and always the center of much excitement. And by the way- how fun would it be to be pregnant right alongside one of your close friends?! Lucky ladies.

On a completely different note; I remember that during my first week of coaching ever, I was so tired in the mornings that I actually thought I might die. I'm kind of feeling that way this week because I had whole month off from morning practices. And now, two days back into the swing of things, I might die from tiredness. All the shots of espresso in the world couldn't help me today.

Thank the Lord for those Starbucks gift cards! I went promptly after practice yesterday to order a VENTI and gulped it down. Of course, I peed more than usual but it was worth it :)

Thanks for coming to the shower last night, Deb! And...you're right, it has truly been a blast to be pregnant with a dear friend. We're both ready for these babies to get here, but I'm kind of sad this very special season will be over - it's quite likely it will NEVER happen again.

I'm with you on those early mornings. You would think after all these years my body would be used to it - NOPE! It shocks me every time.

Have a great week! :)

I totally agree...I am still having a tough time get back into the swing of things...and I don't do coffee, or caffine for that matter....
