Well, I didn’t win the auction for the dresser, but I’m still ahead on the Jack Vettriano print. Go figure. One more day.

I had a very pleasant weekend. The weather felt like summer. Bryan convinced me to tag along on a golf game with him on Saturday. I sat in the cart, read, drank iced tea and got a bad sunburn. Tricky old golf cart. I kept telling Bryan “Put me in the shade!” when he’d park the cart.

We went to see Iron Man yesterday. I wasn’t initially all that enthused, but Robert Downey Jr. made a noteworthy comeback in this movie. He was actually kind of charming.

Memorial Day weekend is almost upon us! It appears that I will be doing a lot of picnicking and grilling. I’m going to get to see the Texas Penses for the first time in months! I’ve missed them.
