Bryan and I deep-cleaned the apartment yesterday and I decorated for Fall. I picked a black bird motif for the mantle- that may sound strange, but I've always found black birds kind of creepy (Hello! The Birds!!). So, Fall leaves, miniature pumpkins and gourds and two black birds are the official harbingers of the season in the Baucom household.

And some Wyder's dry pear cider.

On a very sad note, Jennifer's precious little Samson was stolen from her yard yesterday. Please pray that we get him back!

I decorated for Halloween yesterday. The birds are interesting. I remember how you used to watch it with your friends. I hope we get Samson back too.

The kids are very distraught about Samson. We are praying for his return. Why would someone do something like that?!?

The Birds! I love it.

Stolen from her yard! The horror! People have told us to be careful with Rufus because he's so beautiful. I would never recover if he were taken away from me.
