Well, Hubby left for Houston this morning. He's appraising catastrophe claims there for a couple weeks. He brought me bagels and coffee in bed this morning, so I actually got up on time. Now, I feel like I've been awake forever!!

I made this great recipe the other night for Bryan and a friend. It's Emeril's Seafood Mac 'n Cheese, and I hunted the recipe on Every Day Food for a long time but couldn't find it. Anyway, it was quite a hit. I think it's going to be a classic in my food arsenal from now on.

We watched Apocalypto last night. I really hate gory movies, but aside from lots of disgusting blood and guts, the movie was really good.

So, while Hubby's gone, I'm going to try and get some things accomplished. Here's my list:

1. Get tire fixed
2. Organize my side of the closet... finally
3. Return library books and pick out some new ones
4. Take Tino to the dog park
5. Laundry (I'm finally out of undies)

Basically, I'm going to try not to shut myself up in the apartment for two weeks.
