Because of the ice and snow, I had to miss my Weight Watchers meeting this week, but I'm still trucking along with it. I'm almost to three weeks, and I'm hoping I've lost ten pounds by the time I weigh in on Monday. My clothes all feel a bit looser, and I don't look quite as chipmunk-like in the cheeks. For the most part, the diet has not been hard. There have been a few nights this week when I wanted to just eat dinner without having to worry about how many points I was consuming, but I've managed to make some pretty good meals with some healthy substitutions. Last night, I made oven-baked potato wedges because I was really craving french fries. My potato wedges were really quite good!

I'm driving to Tulsa tomorrow to teach a dance, then I'm driving back on Sunday for the Super Bowl. I've already planned the healthy snacks I'm making: chili and a layered bean dip made with all lowfat ingredients.

Have a great weekend!
