Today, I:
  1. Explored Twitter to see how it could be used by the Ballet to further engage our audience. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Can't we do the same thing on Facebook?
  2. Decided that the time has come for me to dye my hair permanently and regularly. This is because as I fixed my hair this morning, I noticed there were streaks of gray in it; not just strands. I almost had a panic attack, then I felt angry at the cruel and unusual punishment of premature graying, and finally, I realized it could be much worse. I could look in the mirror each morning and be frustrated by a missing eye ball or arm or, God forbid, a leg. Gray hair can be easily dealt with. Missing organs and limbs cannot.
  3. Bought Chanel makeup for the first time in my life because the people at the Bobbi Brown counter ignored me for five minutes. Twice. I even took care of my other shopping and came back to the make-up counter, but no, no acknowledgement of me, the potential customer. Chanel was pleased to have my business.
  4. Almost finished the Twilight series. I speed-read the first three books in six days, but I'm taking my time on the final book. This is not because I don't want the teen vampire angst to end; I just won't have anything to read when I'm finished and I spent $70 buying the darn series. Speed-reading is an expensive hobby.

Have a good one!

1. Essentially, yes.
2. I know it won't make you feel any better, but I've begun to notice gray hairs myself. At this point I'm just thankful I am not like my grandmother and completely gray by my late 20's.
3. How rude!
4. Are the books worth it?
