Eight years later, in August of 2010, I love reminiscing about that first phase of whirlwind romance: how Bryan would drive 3 hours to see me, and we'd stay up all night talking, driving, going to I-HOP, unable to get enough of each other's company. He bought me Roberta Flack's greatest hits CD and we slow danced in my dorm room. My mom and I drove to Miami over Fall Break and surprised him at a football game, bearing a hand-made poster with a big heart surrounding the number 63. He covered my parent's porch in red and white roses one night when I was home for a weekend in Tulsa.
For fun, here are a couple of pictures we took outside Banning Hall the first time Bryan came to visit me at OCU.

We look so young! Young, carefree and exhilerated. How fun it is to look back and remember this special beginning. Here's to many more Augusts and many more years spent with the people we love.
