Something horrific happened to me this weekend. I've had many profound thoughts about it, but none of them are coming to me now. Or maybe they're just too terrible to write about.
My aunt died on Saturday evening during a graduation party at Beth and Scott's house. We were all there. We all tried desperately to save her, crying out to God to intervene. For reasons we can't understand, though, He took her to heaven to be with Him.
It was the single most traumatic experience of my life. It's all I can think about. We are all in shock. We just have no idea when life will end, when we will run out of second chances.
