Happy Friday 13th!

I'm happy to report that Kick Camp went splendidly last night. Sam, our high-kick pro, did a great job with the girls and we covered a lot of ground. Tonight is round two! I'm already figuring out that this group of girls is the type that you just throw challenges at, and then they far exceed your expectations. I'm still learning to read them, though. I couldn't really tell how they all feel about our plan for competition season when we talked to them last night, but we have a little time for them to open up and ask questions.

I'm so ready for the weekend! My husband promised to take me out for sushi. Other than that, my plans include a few cooking projects and not much else. My type of weekend!

So what do you get when you order sushi? I am too chicken to try it!!

Oh, Lauren! It's time. Remember that the fish doesn't have to be raw- lots of varieties are cooked. My favorite is the Rock-N-Roll from Tsunami: crab, cream cheese and strawberry. Sounds strange, but it's a delight.

Now that sounds good- I love all those ingredients. Where do you usually go?

I really love the Tsunami downtown, across from the PAC. There's also a Tsunami on the Jenks RiverWalk. On Brookside, In The Raw and Fuji are good, too. I've been told to avoid Sushi Train by a coworker.

Sushi Train is right by my office. It does not look good just judging by the outside!!
